The Global C-Store Marketing Director will be based in North America — Grapevine, TX.
The Director will manage marketing for multiple products, categories, or programs with scope complexity within the Global C-Store division. This role supports Net sales (at least $75 million) and/or has independent responsibility for marketing plans for corporate accounts with net sales at least $200 million; may support a smaller division in a broader role. The Director will lead a team, drive overall team strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand market dynamics (competitive and customer insights), translate insights into actionable strategies, and build partnerships with the selling organization to align marketing with sales goals.
The role also involves sharing knowledge with global counterparts and championing the Ecolab brand and the Ecolab Experience.
- Champion the Ecolab brand and create brand-building strategies in the C-Store segment.
- Champion disruptive innovation and identify actionable opportunities for industry change.
- Synthesize competitive insights, market trends, and technology trends into strategies and tactics to drive business objectives.
- Advocate for transformative business strategies, digital innovations, and virtual reality initiatives.
- Partner with key industry leaders to identify opportunities to drive business value.
- Set strategy and drive execution.
- Develop three- to five-year business plans.
- Report to the VP & GM Global C-Store Division.
- MBA and BA or BS in Business and/or Marketing
- Eight years of related marketing experience
- Marketing experience in a B2B environment; experience in the Grocery Retail sector is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic capabilities with ability to execute
- Proven track record of successful initiatives and management
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
- Understanding and commitment to customer priorities
- Proven leadership skills and ability to build strong internal relationships
- Global mindset with global experience preferred
- Ability to navigate a complex matrix organization
- Executive presentation experience preferred
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Proficient with Office 365 applications
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The base salary range for this position is $ — $. This position is eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentives based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are considered when determining compensation, including experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
