Job DescriptionThe Security Officer assists the Safety & Security Manager and Assistant Manager, Security in providing a safe and secure work environment. Promotes good working relations through courteous, helpful, and professional contact with employees, guests, and vendors/contractors. Responsible for securing the premises and personnel by patrolling and inspecting inside and outside of the exhibit, protecting against fire, theft, vandalism, employee/guest injury, illegal activity and/or inappropriate guest/employee activity in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Support security activities to safeguard company assets, employees, guests, and visitors.
- Maintain a daily positive interaction with guests and employees.
- Respond to incidents, including but not limited to medical, Company Code of Conduct violations by guests, and alcohol/drug related incidents.
- Complete daily reports, incident reports, supplemental reports, and other written/electronic documentation as required.
- Escort employees and security vendors for money pickups and drop-offs.
- Proficient in English; verbal and written communication skills.
- Full and open availability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Customer‑service driven with outstanding communication and active listening skills.
- Solution oriented and not stopped by “paper walls.”
- Willingness to learn.
- Bi‑lingual.
- First Aid, CPR, AED certified.
- Techniques for Alcohol Management (TABC) certified.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Problem‑solving and multi‑tasking abilities.
- Strong sense of responsibility and respectful attitude.
- Customer‑service drive with outstanding communication and active listening skills.
- LevelII Non‑Commission Security Officer license in good standing with the State of Texas.

- Position, move, and/or lift objects up to 50 lbs.
