HVAC Superintendent

Overview

IES Residential is growing! As one of the nation’s largest electrical subcontractors with an expanding HVAC division, we are looking for an experienced HVAC Superintendent to join our team in Grapevine, TX. Join a company that values safety, teamwork, and career growth.

• Oversee scheduling, installation, inspections, and punch phases of residential HVAC projects
• Manage daily field operations, including technicians, helpers, and subcontractors
• Coordinate equipment commissioning and warranty repairs
• Ensure quality control and compliance with local codes and regulations
• Maintain strong relationships with builders, trades, and inspectors
• Prepare material take-offs and complete job documentation accurately and on time

• 2–4 years of experience in new construction residential HVAC
• Tradesman License (required); EPA Certification (preferred)
• Valid Driver’s License

• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
• Strong communication skills with teams, builders, and inspectors
• Proven leadership and organizational skills

• Must pass background check, drug screening, and safety training
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and climbing
• Ability to work on ladders and scaffolding
• Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment
• Capable of working in physically demanding conditions

• Residential construction sites (indoor and outdoor)
• Exposure to weather conditions, dust, noise, and job site hazards
• PPE required and safety protocols enforced
