Our Client is a growing restoration company serving residential and commercial clients throughout North Texas. We specialize in water, fire, mold, and emergency mitigation services and are committed to delivering exceptional customer service, rapid response times, and quality workmanship on every project.
We are seeking an experienced Lead Mitigation Technician to oversee field operations, lead crews, and ensure restoration projects are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.
Job SummaryThe Lead Mitigation Technician is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of assigned restoration projects including crew management, equipment coordination, job site supervision, quality control, and customer communication. This role works closely with property owners, occupants, subcontractors, technicians, and office staff throughout the restoration process to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet company standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with hands‑on restoration experience and excellent communication skills.
FieldManagement
- Respond to emergency mitigation and large loss situations as needed
- Lead and supervise restoration technicians and temporary labor crews
- Oversee water, fire, mold, and demolition projects from start to finish
- Ensure demolition and mitigation work is clean, complete, and ready for rebuild
- Monitor job site safety and OSHA compliance
- Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks with crews
- Ensure all work meets company and industry standards
- Monitor job progress, quality control, and workflow efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service and daily communication with property owners and occupants
- Train, mentor, and support technician personnel in the field
- Participate in on‑call emergency response rotation
- Complete moisture readings, photos, and daily job documentation
- Review and maintain accurate project paperwork
- Coordinate equipment needs and ensure equipment is deployment ready
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment
- Assist with inventory management and equipment checks
- Coordinate subcontractors and temporary labor as needed
- 3+ years of residential and commercial restoration experience preferred
- Leadership or crew lead experience preferred
- IICRC certifications preferred including WTR, ASD, AMRT, or FSRT
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more regularly
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and active job sites
- Must be clean‑shaven for respirator use per OSHA regulations
- Ability to work after hours and participate in on‑call rotation
