Services and oversees major electrical, hydraulic and/or diesel engine repairs of all types of construction equipment as required to ensure proper working condition when leaving the shop;
Dismantles and reassembles/rebuilds equipment;
Diagnoses complex mechanical and electrical equipment problems;
Performs check-ins and safety inspections and assists other equipment mechanics with general shop and equipment maintenance as needed;
Conducts preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary repairs and down time in the field or other remote settings
