JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for meeting clients needs by supervising and assigning job tasks related to set-ups and takedowns in the field, coordinating shipments; supervising on-site show labor, handling on-site problems, completing reports concerning field services jobs; recommending cost-saving measures to clients; confirming inbound and outbound freight, assisting in invoice preparation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Set up or assembly (installation) and take-down or tear down (dismantle) of trade show displays.
Ability to lead onsite show labor teams to achieve show ready results
Ensure equipment is always fully operational.
Load and unload equipment at events sites.
Assist in inventory, repair and cleaning of equipment in warehouse and event sites.
Responsible for the proper in-house pulling, installation, dismantling, and packing of trade show exhibit structure and other exhibit related components prior to shipping to the show.
Examines blueprints to determine dimensions of structure.
Pull and assemble exhibits based on the set-up/construction drawings provided by the Project Manager.
Review staged projects to ensure quality completion, provide redlines to PM and/or Engineer in timely manner.
Pack exhibits for secure and safe transport.
Comply with company and federal health and safety policies and regulations.
General assistance with other warehouse activities and maintenance.
Analyzes and resolves project issues, or collaborate with supervisor to come to a resolution.
Track and account for your time spent working on each project to ensure accurate job costing.
Ability to supervise booth construction on show-site.
Travel up to 50% of time.
Maintain clean and safe working environment.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED5 to 7 years as an I&D Technician and/or I&D Lead.
Must understand drawings and renderings as applies to graphic and exhibit assembly
Must be passionate about working with people and be customer-centric.
Proficient in operating forklifts.
Must be able to lift 100 pounds.
Working knowledge and use of hand tools and measurements devices.
Ability to work accurately and quickly under company deadlines.
Cooperative, courteous, flexible and good natured.
Conscientious, persistent, resourceful, productive and active.
Must have the ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships and deal with employees in an efficient and professional manner.
Must have Trade Show experience.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks and commitment to meeting and exceeding deadlines and goals.
Valid drivers license.
