Market Logistics Coordinator
Position Objective:
Supports Market Logistics Operations by handling administrative, communication, and scheduling duties.
- Coordinate with local branches to ensure timely opening and closing of contracts to support dispatch operations.
- Close work orders and ensure accurate documentation of pertinent information.
- Perform regular reviews of driver logs and schedules per the Dispatcher's direction.
- Act as primary communication link between branches and the Market Logistics Operation Center.
- Monitor vehicle inspection program reporting (DVIR) and coordinate vehicle repairs with internal and external parties.
- Review orders for correct contact and delivery instructions.
- Assist with driver scheduling and timekeeping.
- Schedule third-party haulers as directed by the Dispatcher.
- Keep branches informed of next run-out to facilitate equipment staging.
- Monitor driver stop times and communicate to expedite when necessary.
- Monitor future orders to identify fleet availability gaps.
- Assist dispatcher in prioritizing pickups based on need and time.
- Order and receive parts for ongoing repairs and restocking, maintaining adequate supplies.
- Perform semi-annual parts usage reviews and adjust truck storage accordingly.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1–2 years of equipment rental experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Basic computer skills.
- Personal and professional integrity.
- Flexible problem-solving approach.
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational communication skills.
- Knowledge of dispatch administration and DOT regulations is preferred.
Base Pay Range: $24.05 - $33.06 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on position, location, education, training, and/or experience.
