Aircraft Fueler - Entry Level

Position Details

Location:

Dallas Fort‑Worth International Airport - DFW.

Entry Level Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour.

Open availability to work any shift. Must work weekends and holidays as required. Shift schedule: five consecutive days with two consecutive days off.

The aircraft fueler is responsible for safe and efficient fueling, defueling, and servicing of aircraft at the airport. This includes performing simple mathematical calculations to interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, maintaining a safe and secure work environment in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies.

• Perform fueling safely and efficiently, operating fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft.
• Accurately account for fuel transactions.
• Perform daily quality control checks on equipment and keep equipment clean and functional.
• Ensure correct loading and balancing of fuel.
• Defuel aircraft as directed.

Provide reasonable care for own health, safety, and wellbeing and that of others, following training and workplace health and safety regulations. The company prohibits alcohol and drug misuse and enforces a substance misuse policy.

• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking in English; basic math skills.
• Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Preferred: prior experience, Commercial Driver’s License, or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
