Freight Forwarder

• Coordinate the exportation of goods by ocean, including carrier booking and managing movement through transportation channels
• Coordinate the exportation of goods by air, including airline scheduling and managing movement through transportation channels
• Prepare and process customs-clearance documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
• Track and monitor shipments and provide customers with regular status updates
• Manage customer relationships, satisfaction, concerns, and issues
• Collaborate with logistics, finance, operations, and other internal departments
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade laws, and other relevant laws
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in air and ocean exports is highly desirable
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as calculating costs and rates
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of air and ocean freight logistics
• Understanding of trade laws and regulations
• Fluency in English is required
• Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with logistics software and systems is preferred

Demonstrates expertise in coordinating air and ocean exports, managing customs-clearance documentation, and ensuring compliance with trade laws and regulations. Strong ability to maintain customer relationships and provide timely updates on shipment status.
