Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes and placing orders in the delivery area. Unload trailers/containers of goods into the warehouse. Understand all aspects of the warehouse functions you are trained in.
Responsibilities- Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes and placing orders in the delivery area.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping bins, shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
- Ensure inventories are accurate and control inventory levels by ensuring physical counts are conducted and reconciled with an automated system utilizing the help of the warehouse team.
- Ensure efficient and effective use of warehouse space to include layout and future capacity requirements.
- Create and implement best practice warehousing principles, policies, and processes.
- Unload trailers/containers of goods into the warehouse.
- Understand all aspects of the warehouse functions you are trained in.
- Openness to learn and willingness to be cross‑trained.
- Work safely and follow all company policies/procedures.
- Ensure a high level of safety, quality, accuracy, and efficiency in all that you do.
- Experience is a plus, but not required — we will train the right person.
- Experience unloading trucks or using RF scanners is a plus.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain safety standards.
- Self‑motivated, organized, and detail‑oriented.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to be cross‑trained; forklift experience is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
- Pre‑employment background checks are required, including MVR and drug screening.
