Position: 3044-Crisis Clinical Program Manager

Overview

Pacific Clinics is providing Crisis Response Team services for Nevada County, including emergency crisis intervention services available 24/7, 365 days a year. Services include mobile crisis responses and emergency department visits. The Crisis Response Team de‑escalates behavioral health crises, including individuals who are acutely suicidal, homicidal, or gravely disabled, and stabilizes them to reduce the need for higher level care.

Schedule

Wed – Sat (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Compensation
  • $96,384 – $118,540 annually, depending on experience, location, and internal equity considerations.
  • 8% License Differential for LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD, and select peer certifications.
  • 7.5% Bilingual Differential for qualified positions.

Job Summary

Hires, develops, trains, manages, and retains clinical program staff and a clinical team(s) to ensure satisfaction and culturally competent service delivery. Responsibilities
  • Ensure effective coordination of services for individuals and families with internal and external providers, including local law enforcement.
  • Apply advanced skills in acquisition and application of clinically related information to intervene effectively during crises.
  • Act as a clinical consultant to ensure initiation of involuntary psychiatric holds complies with relevant laws.
  • Apply multi‑modal approaches and perspectives to therapeutic direction and crisis management.
  • Respond to community‑based mental health crises, including individuals presenting as a danger to self or others.
  • Participate in joint responses with local law enforcement to manage acute mental or behavioral health crises.

  • Provide coaching and mentoring in evidence‑based practices; lead problem‑solving interactions with external customers.

  • Maintain a 24/7 scheduling system to ensure coverage for crisis response; may cover shifts or parts of shifts as required.
  • Participate in Crisis Continuum on‑call manager rotation, including in‑person response.
  • Maintain audit‑ready charts and conduct independent chart audits.
  • Provide observations and feedback to supervisors to monitor and modify programs or approaches.
  • Conduct community and law‑enforcement‑based trainings as needed.
  • Ensure staff billable productivity and revenue‑related activities meet or exceed forecasts.
