Veterinary Receptionist; Care Coordinator - Grass Valley Veterinary Hospital

Pet Vet Care Centers' Grass Valley Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) to join our team.

This role provides a range of administrative and customer service tasks, supporting the hospital and ensuring a positive client experience. The Care Coordinator acts as the first point of contact, managing lobby flow, scheduling, and basic client concerns.

• Provides excellent customer service in-person, on the phone, and during high‑stress situations.
• Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, calms distressed owners, and schedules appointments.
• Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well‑being.
• Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and provides information about services and products.
• Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
• Assists with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records.
• Reconciles cash drawer and performs end‑of‑day duties for accurate financial transactions.

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent education, certification, training, and/or experience.
• Some veterinary experience preferred.
• Receptionist and/or customer service experience preferred.

Part‑time with varying shifts ranging from 2–8 hours. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling.

$17—$20 USD.
