Locum Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity
Grass Valley, CA
Physician Pediatric Hospitalist (Locums)
A rewarding short-term locum opportunity is available for a Pediatric Hospitalist to support coverage needs in a well-supported clinical setting.
- Shift Type: 24-hour on-call (7a 7a)
- On-Call: 24/7 during assignment
- Weekend Coverage: Yes
- Family Birth Center (L&D & Nursery)
- Emergency Department consults
- Inpatient pediatric coverage (rare admissions)
- Daily newborn rounding
- Attend high-risk or concerning deliveries as needed
- ED pediatric consults
- Neonatal and pediatric resuscitation support
- Admit pediatric patients from ED when required
- No NICU on site
- Nursery + ER consult coverage
- Approx. deliveries annually
- EMR:
Cerner - Strong multidisciplinary support (OB/GYN, Anesthesia, ED, Tele-Intensivists)
- Board Certified or BE within 5 years (Pediatrics)
- Active California medical license
- DEA (required during credentialing)
- Recent privileges at Joint Commission accredited hospital
- Lodging provided
