Special Education Teacher
Our Special Education Services Department is searching for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our county program. In this role, you will design and deliver specialized, data-driven instruction to students with diverse, low incidence, or intensive learning needs across our regional programs. You will act as the Case Manager for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), leading a multidisciplinary team of therapists, paraprofessionals, and districts to ensure equitable access and student success for our students with Extensive Support Needs in our beautiful Western County foothills.

The Golden State Teacher Grant Program (GSTG) encourages students to consider earning a teaching credential and teach in a high-need field, at a priority school, in California for four years, within five years after completing a teacher preparation program.
The California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) may award $20,000 GSTGs to over 4,400 eligible students across California, that are enrolled in a Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) approved teacher preparation program on or after January 1, 2020. Grant applicants must agree to all terms and conditions of the GSTG program or be required to repay the grant. NCSOS qualifies as a priority school and our Special Education teacher positions are considered "high-need fields".
