Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-2:30 PM (37.5 Hours/Week)

Are you a passionate Special Education Teacher looking for a supportive school environment with manageable caseloads and strong administrative support? We are seeking a dedicated educator to join a highly collaborative educational team in the beautiful Grass Valley, California area.

• Competitive pay at $50.00 per hour
• Full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week

• Caseload cap of 14 students
• Support provided for IEP development, SEIS documentation, meetings, and district procedures
• Strong collaboration with special education leadership and support staff

• Provide specialized instruction to students with unique learning needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal special education requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and student progress reviews
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and behavior supports

• Current classroom enrollment: 9-10 students
• Amergis caseload: 14 students
• Approximately 9-10 annual IEPs throughout the school year
• First annual IEP scheduled for mid-September
• Two triennial reevaluations anticipated during the spring semester
• District support available for:
  • IEP preparation
  • SEIS documentation
  • Compliance processes and procedures
  • Meeting participation and guidance

IEP meetings are typically scheduled during the workday, though occasional days may extend beyond 2:30 PM when meetings run longer.

• Active California Special Education Teaching Credential
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations
• Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred
