Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license in California
• Previous nursing experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
• Strong assessment and triage skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
• Flexible, compassionate, and able to adapt to the changing needs within a school environment
• CPR/BLS certification
• Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, or care plans a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing services and address acute and chronic conditions for students
• Conduct health assessments, medication administration, and first aid as needed
• Collaborate with staff and families to develop and implement care or emergency action plans
• Maintain accurate health records and document interventions in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Advocate for student health, support health screenings, and promote health education
• Participate in IEP/504 meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team as needed
