Mobile Service Technician

Job Description

Servicing and maintaining parts washers, spray gun cleaning machines and other body shop equipment on customer premises throughout England and Wales from our base in Bilsthorpe. This role typically requires one overnight stay per week, with accommodation and expenses provided.

• Complete servicing of rental and customer-owned equipment throughout England and Wales, including occasional overnight stays.
• Service equipment based on a schedule, collect and replace waste fluids, clean, maintain, diagnose and fix mechanical faults.
• Collect workshop and body shop wastes to maximise customer service.
• Complete legal paperwork to support waste transfers and services completed.
• Maintain a customer-service focused attitude.
• Maintain high standard of health and safety following written processes and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of company assets including van and workwear, upholding the company brand and image.
• Keep the workshop clean and tidy.
• Build and refurbish parts washers and spray gun machines as required.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Experience in a similar sector is desirable but not essential.
• Proactive and safety-focused approach.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to build rapport with customers.
• Positive, motivated, flexible and adaptable attitude.
• Ability to work alone and conscientiously.
• Highly organised, able to prioritise effectively and manage workload.
• Ability to work under time pressures.

• Valid driver’s license with 3 points or less.
