Position Overview
Gray-New Gloucester Russell School (MSAD
15 district) is seeking a dynamic and collaborative professional to join our hard‑working K‑2 educators as a Permanent School‑Year Substitute. The role requires cultivating positive relationships with students and staff, demonstrating flexibility, problem‑solving, and strong classroom management skills.
- Provide coverage for K‑2 staff members (teachers, educational technology specialists, and secretary) during absences.
- Manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment.
Schedule:
8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Compensation: $150 per day.
- Current State of Maine Department of Education Criminal History Record Check.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong classroom management skills; ability to be flexible and problem‑solve.
- Experience in K‑2 education is preferred but not required.
