Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment with a co-teacher, for young children, facilitating their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and the ability to engage with children in a meaningful way.

• Assist in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities for toddlers
• Supervise and engage with children in indoor and outdoor play
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Assist with meal times, diaper changes, and maintaining a clean and organized classroom
• Communicate effectively with parents and team members
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working with toddlers in a childcare setting preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a background check (Serendipity Creek Childcare Center complies with regulations that prohibit inquiring about criminal backgrounds)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
