We are hiring Manufacturing Associates to support a stable, high‑demand production facility in Gray, ME. This role focuses on small‑part and electronic bench‑style assembly in a clean, organized light‑manufacturing environment. In addition to newly increased pay rates on all shifts, these positions offer consistent schedules, predictable hours, and a clear temp‑to‑hire path for candidates who demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
The facility is centrally located with an easy commute from Portland, Freeport, Windham, Mechanic Falls, Lewiston/Auburn, and surrounding areas.
- Assembling small parts or electronic components using written instructions, diagrams, or work orders
- Using hand tools or small power tools to complete assemblies
- Performing light soldering
- Inspecting finished pieces to ensure they meet quality and accuracy standards
- Preparing completed products for packaging, storage, or shipment
- Recording basic production or quality data using simple computer systems
- Have prior manufacturing, assembly, or production experience
- Are comfortable following step‑by‑step instructions (written and verbal)
- Enjoy bench‑style or station‑based work
- Pay close attention to detail and take pride in doing things correctly
- Are dependable, show up consistently, and work well with a team
- Are open to learning new tasks or rotating between assembly areas
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Basic computer skills (entering data, reading electronic work orders)
- Ability to remain focused on repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Post‑offer background check will be required
