Overview
Manufacturing Programmer/Technician – Technical Leadership in Electronics
Pay Rate: $23–$25 per hour
Schedule:
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00AM–3:45PM or 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00PM–3:00AM
Assignment Length:
Temp‑to‑Hire
This hands‑on, highly technical role involves programming, operating, and optimizing repair and rework equipment while serving as the primary expert for equipment performance, repair processes, and line‑down troubleshooting. Ideal candidates enjoy blending technical skill, problem‑solving, and process improvement.
Responsibilities- Operate and optimize repair and rework equipment to ensure efficient performance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for equipment performance issues and process troubleshooting.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- 2‑year electronics degree + 4 years of direct experience, or 8+ years in an equivalent technical role.
- Training or experience with lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma.
- Strong familiarity with Surface Mount Technology (SMT/SMD) machinery (strongly preferred).
