Manufacturing Technician

Overview

As the Manufacturing Technician for the organization, you will provide technical support to manufacturing’s daily operations and perform continuous improvement activities with goal of improving quality and reliability.

Monday – Friday, 7AM – 3:45PM

• Experience with machine equipment
• Good software abilities: MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook proficiency necessary.
• Ability to work with minimal assistance.
• Ability to work in a “Team” environment.
• Ability to work in environments experiencing routine and rapid change.
• Excellent organization and decision‑making skills.
• Must be able to lift 30 to 35 lbs (2-3 times per hour).
• Must pass a pre‑employment vision exam (all candidates must be able to accurately distinguish colors used to identify electronic components, indicators, and markings).
• Must pass a dexterity test, among others, at discretion of employer.
• Must have basic knowledge of computers.

• High School or equivalent
• 2-4 years of experience in equivalent field
• Certification for electronic assembly equipment desirable
• Experience with lean manufacturing and /or six sigma desirable
