I am currently recruiting for a nursery practitioner to join a welcoming and well-established early years setting based in Grays. This is a full-time opportunity offering flexibility, excellent rates of pay, and on-site parking, making it ideal for experienced early years professionals looking for their next role.
As a nursery practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework, creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
The RoleIn this nursery practitioner position, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting children s emotional, physical, and educational development
Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS
Observing, assessing, and recording children s progress
Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents/carers
Ensuring safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are followed at all times
Hours options:
8:00am 6:00pm, 4 days per week
9:00am 5:00pm, 5 days per week
Pay: From £13.69 per hour
Location: Grays
Parking: On-site parking available
To be successful as a nursery practitioner, you will need:
A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 minimum)
Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
