HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Master Technician - West Thurrock

Location: West Thurrock

Salary: £53,820+ overtime at 1.5x

Shift: Rotating shifts - 45 hours per week Mon-Fri 06:00-15:30 & 12:30-22:00, Saturdays as required

We are looking for a skilled HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or aspiring Master Technician with all-round HGV experience and strong diagnostic skills. The preferred candidate will have experience working to main dealer standards, but experienced HGV technicians with computer-aided diagnostic skills will also be considered. This permanent role offers excellent pay, overtime opportunities, and career progression in a supportive environment.

• Carry out maintenance and repairs to HGVs and trailers
• Diagnose faults using computer-aided diagnostics and repair effectively
• Ensure work meets main dealer standards and safety regulations
• Support the workshop with routine servicing and inspections
• Complete job cards, service sheets, and reports accurately
  
  Work flexible shifts including occasional Saturdays
• Stay up to date with technical developments and training

Essential

• Level 3 HGV Technician qualification or Time served
• Proven experience working on HGVs
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Full driving licence (Class 1 HGV desirable)

Desirable

• Experience working to main dealer standards
• Advanced computer-aided diagnostic experience
