HGV Technician Supervisor

Location: West Thurrock

Our West Thurrock Dealership is thriving due to new customer business and as a Renault Trucks Main Dealer, we can offer you a personal progression plan with individual training to enhance your product knowledge from working within a global brand.

The preferred candidate will have experience of working to main dealer standards, however we will consider experienced HGV technicians with computer aided diagnostics skills with all round HGV experience.

HGV Technician Supervisor Earlies / Lates Shift

Hours:

45 hours 06.00 - 13.30 | 13.00 - 22.00 with a 30 min break with alternate Saturday's paid at time and a half

Paying between £25.00 and £26. 85 pr hr and with alternate Saturday's paid at time and a half

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

* Supervise the shift technicians and co-ordinate workload

* Liaise with the Dealerpoint Manager regarding shift staff, training needs, KPI's etc

* Diagnosis and repair of vehicles

* Servicing of vehicles to a high standard

* Ability to use diagnostic equipment

* Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report any rectifications required

* Complete job cards clearly and accurately

Essential Qualifications and Knowledge

* C&G or NVQ3 Heavy Vehicle Technician qualification

* Excellent electrical, diagnostic and mechanical skills

* Good understanding of H&S issues in a workshop environment

* Clean Driving Licence – HGV would be an advantage
