Salary: Starting at $16.00 per hour

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Hours per week: This position is part-time with an average work week of 10.5 hours.

• Wednesdays 5:00pm-9:15pm
• Fridays 3:00pm-6:00pm
• Weekend rotation (every four weeks):
  • One Saturday 9am-5:15pm (between Labor Day and Memorial Day weekends)
  • One Sunday 12:15pm-5:15pm (between Labor Day and Memorial Day weekends)

• Assist patrons with their library accounts and materials, including registration for library cards and programs.
• Help familiarise patrons with library resources and services, ensuring an outstanding patron experience.
• Work in a fast‑paced, public‑facing environment, multitasking and maintaining a positive, detail‑oriented demeanor.

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college considered a plus.
• Aptitude with current technology, including Google Workspace and navigating between multiple sites and tabs.
• Public service experience is highly desirable.
• Flexibility to work additional hours is advantageous.
