Description:
The Special Education District of Lake County will have an opening for a part time Orientation and Mobility Specialist for the school year. SEDOL is looking for someone who has a dual license preferably; PEL - Blind and Partially Sighted (vision impairment) and COMS (Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist). Orientation and mobility is part of the educational process that prepares the student with a visual impairment to travel independently.
Position:
Part-time Salary/Benefits: $45,381-$73.381 (25-26 rates due to current negotiations of bargaining agreement). Benefits package is offered (part-time school year 2026 - 2027)
