Job OverviewProvide differentiated instruction with a variety of assessments in an environment conducive to learning
Qualifications- This position requires an Art Endorsement at the Kindergarten – Grade 9 level and/or the Junior High/Middle School 5th – 8th Grade level.
- A completed/submitted online application, resume, and letters of recommendation as required on the online application.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Applicants must hold valid Illinois Professional Educator License or other License as required.
- Past experience teaching the specific class will be considered first; recent coursework or student teaching in the subject will also be considered.
- The ability to speak a foreign language is preferred.
- Demonstrate accurate, up-to-date knowledge of content and learning standards
- Foster a classroom climate conducive to learning
- Utilize instructional management systems that maximize student learning
- Differentiate instruction and monitor student progress towards achieving instructional objectives and goals
- Plans and supervises assignments for assistants and volunteers
- Promote and maintain positive pupil‑teacher‑parent relationships
- Meet professional responsibilities as outlined in the Staff Handbook
- Continue to seek professional development opportunities as required by the State for license renewal
- Maintain professional work habits
- Communicate effectively within the educational community
- Maintain your Professional Educator License as required by law
