Job Summary:
The Warehouse Operator at Medline Industries, LP is responsible for operating machinery to move materials within the facility for shipping, processing, and receiving. Duties include unloading, scanning, moving, staging, loading, locating, picking, relocating, and stacking product.
- Catalog, record, and organize materials received at the warehouse.
- Arrange materials for order assembly and fulfill worksheets or tickets based on production schedules, order forms, and requisitions.
- Locate and gather products to move and distribute to production workers, assembly line, or shipping areas.
- Assemble, build, wrap, sort, and transport customer orders.
- Operate hand truck, cart, doli, forklift, order-picker, and walkie to transport items.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Basic keypunch skills.
- Physical ability to bend, twist, reach, push, lift, and stand for 8 hours per day, up to 6 days a week.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- High sense of urgency and flexibility to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- 1–3 months of related experience and/or training.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $20.25–$29.25 per hour, varying by location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
