Production Operator - 2nd Shift; Mon - Fri

Production Operator I - 2nd Shift (Mon - Fri 2:30pm - 11:00pm)

Produce products in a timely and efficient manner for the customers.

• Set up and operate various machines and assemble parts as directed by Cell Lead.
• Read and understand bill of materials and blueprints of drawings.
• Communicate with Cell Lead on all issues related to discrepancies on drawing or BOM.
• Work closely with the Quality Department to conduct inspections during the production process and verify product meets customer specifications and industry standards.
• Operate air and power tools as needed to aid in the manufacturing process.
• Maintain productivity at levels that match or exceed production standards.
• Follow safety rules and use safe procedures.
• Keep all tools and supplies put away in the appropriate location on a daily basis. Keep work area clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience required.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Excel.
• Read and understand blueprints/drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Communicate effectively. Ability to Read, Write and Speak English.
• Knowledge of various types of equipment such as air and power tools, micrometers, calipers, rulers, tape measures and gages.
• Ability to work independently.

• Continuous standing, moving and reaching with arms and hand.
• Frequently walks, bends, lifts and carries items.
• Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 lbs.

• Work performed in a shop environment.
• Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, and odors.

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $18.00/Hour +10% Shift Differential = $19.80/Hour (subject to change dependent on physical location). Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits.
