Job Overview
Harger, now a part of TE, a leading manufacturer of lightning protection and grounding components, is seeking a Production Operator to operate various machines to produce parts for internal and external customers.
Job Requirements- Set up and operate various machines and assemble parts as directed by the Cell Lead.
- Read and understand bills of materials and blueprints of drawings.
- Communicate with the Cell Lead on all issues related to discrepancies on drawings or BOM.
- Work closely with the Quality Department to conduct inspections during the production process and verify products meet customer specifications and industry standards.
- Operate air and power tools as needed to aid in the manufacturing process.
- Maintain productivity levels that match or exceed production standards.
- Follow safety rules and use safe procedures.
- Keep all tools and supplies put away in the appropriate location on a daily basis and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma / GED preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Read and understand blueprints/drawings (preferred, but will be trained).
- Mechanical aptitude and hands‑on work.
- Ability to convert fractions to decimals.
- Effective communication skills; ability to read, write and speak English.
- Knowledge of various types of equipment such as air and power tools, micrometers, calipers, rulers, tape measures, and gauges.
- Ability to work independently.
- Continuous standing, moving, and reaching with arms and hands.
- Frequently walks, bends, lifts, and carries items.
- Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 lbs.
- Work is performed in a shop environment.
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, and odors.

- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $18.00 per hour plus 10% = $19.80 per hour (subject to change depending on physical location).
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentives + Benefits.
