Production Operator III
Produce products in a timely and efficient manner for the customers. Set up and operate various machines and assemble parts as directed by Cell Lead. Read and understand bill of materials and blueprints of drawings. Communicate with Cell Lead on all issues related to discrepancies on drawing or BOM. Work closely with the Quality Department to conduct inspections during the production process and verify product meets customer specifications and industry standards.
Operate air and power tools as needed in order to aid in the manufacturing process. Maintain productivity at levels that match or exceed production standards. Follow safety rules and use safe procedures. Keep all tools and supplies put away in the appropriate location on a daily basis. Keep work area clean and organized. Perform other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED preferred Basic computer knowledge and familiar with Excel. Read and understand blueprints/drawings. Mechanical aptitude. Communicate effectively. Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English. Knowledge of various types of equipment such as:
Air and power tools (Preferred but not needed) Micrometers, calipers, rulers, tape measures and gages Ability to work independently. Continuous standing, moving and reaching with arms and hand. Frequently walks, bends, lifts and carries items. Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 lbs. Work performed in a shop environment. Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, and odors.
Compensation:
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $20.00/Hour to $23.00/Hour - Depending on Experience. A comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), disability, life insurance, employee stock purchase plan, paid time off and voluntary benefits.
