Job OverviewSet up basic fixtures and operate a variety of CNC (computer numerical control) machines in order to produce products according to the customers’ specifications.
Job Requirements- Perform basic CNC machinery set up functions by using preset program.
- Understand specifications required to fabricate products by reading blueprint, mechanical drawings and other drawings and written material.
- Prepare and load materials onto the machine.
- Perform basic tooling changes, as needed.
- Work closely with the Quality Department to conduct inspections during the production process and verify product meets specifications.
- Maintain productivity at levels that match or exceed production standards.
- Communicate with Cell Lead or Supervisor on all issues related to discrepancies on drawing or BOM.
- Follow safety rules and use safe procedures.
- Keep all tools and supplies put away in the appropriate location on a daily basis. Keep work area clean and organized.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Knowledge of Haas machines is preferred but not required.
- Basic ability to read blueprints/drawings.
- Aptitude for math, problem-solving, and computers, including working knowledge of Excel.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Mathematically literate.
- Communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of various types of equipment such as:
- Air and power tools,
- Micrometers, calipers, rulers, tape measures and gages
- Ability to work independently.
- Continuous standing, moving and reaching with arms and hand.
- Frequently walks, bends, lifts and carries items.
- Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 lbs.
- Work performed in a shop environment.
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, and odors.

COMPENSATION- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $25.00/Hour (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
