The Illinois Department of Transportation seeks a Heavy Construction Equipment Operator to maintain roads, bridges and related structures in Lake County. Under supervision, you will operate CDL Class A vehicles and heavy equipment, perform daily maintenance, and assist with snow and ice operations as needed.
Applicants must have 2 years of highway equipment experience, 1 year driving history without incidents, and a Class A CDL with air brakes.
