Family, Youth Activity Coordinator/Admin Assistant, FRC, Great Barrington
CSO is looking for an Administrative Assistant/Family Youth Activities Coordinator to join our team at the Family Resource Center (FRC) in Great Barrington.
The person in this role will provide leadership in development and implementation of FRC activities and events, and coordinate community service activities. They will also provide overall administrative and program support.
As an Administrative Assistant/Family Youth Activities Coordinator:
You will:
- Provide primary leadership in development of overall FRC activity calendar or events. Services will be provided on-site or on an outreach basis.
- Provide overall administrative and program support including dissemination of program materials and maintaining stock of marketing and program calendar materials.
- Provide welcome tours and reception to family and youth who drop‑in, ensuring immediate access to FRC staff for families and youth in need; assist in providing information and referral for families.
- Provide outreach to community and families/youth regarding events.
- Meet with family and youth focus groups to get input into desired FRC activities and supports.
- Coordinate community service opportunities and community field trips for FRC families and youth.
- Coordinate overall FRC activity schedule/calendar.
- Work in collaboration with FRC Program Director, Clinician, and Family Support staff to provide specialized activities for specific FRC youth and families based on individualized needs identified in Family Support Plans.
- Assist with childcare as needed to support Parent Support Groups.
- Maintain clerical support for documentation, administrative paperwork and data collection according to contract guidelines.
Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health discipline or related field preferred
- Equivalent combination of High School diploma or Associate's degree and applicable experience
- Minimum one year demonstrated experience working with children
- Must be able to work flexible schedule which may include evening and weekend work, as required by client needs
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
