Summary
The Licensed Dentist provides routine and preventative dental care, as well as emergency and surgical dental procedures. This role supports positive patient outcomes through the promotion and education of oral health and disease prevention. The Dentist fosters a caring, collaborative, and innovative work environment while adhering to compliance protocols, policies, and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provides routine and preventative oral care; examines, diagnoses, and treats dental/oral conditions; carries out or directs others in appropriate dental/oral treatment or refers patients for specialty consultation.

Records patient encounters in the patient   s dental record; educates patients on oral health conditions and disease prevention through outreach; oversees dental care administered by support staff.

Performs related tasks to achieve organizational goals, engages in patient satisfaction initiatives, and contributes to dentistry practice improvements.

Skills and Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the following:
Doctoral degree in dental medicine.

Minimum 1 year dental office experience.

Electronic medical records experience.

Full unrestricted dental license.
