Overnight Program Manager

Overview

Join to apply for the Overnight Program Manager role at Justice Resource Institute (JRI). This is a full-time overnight position based at Berkshire Meadows, Great Barrington, MA, with a schedule of 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including weekends and on-call availability. We are offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus ($1,000 paid at hire, $1,000 after 3 months, and $1,000 after 6 months).

Location notes:
Berkshire Meadows provides residential, special education, and day habilitation services for children, adolescents, and young adults with developmental disabilities in a campus setting and in community-based homes.

• Ensure that residents in the residences are supported with dignity and respect and have a safe, nurturing environment.
• Provide leadership, including scheduling of staff and routines, and resource management.
• Advocate for medical, behavioral, and social interventions when needed; maintain and encourage family relationships.
• Manage and supervise night staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Respond to and resolve unexpected situations or emergencies during the night shift.
• Complete necessary paperwork, reports, and other administrative duties.
• Communicate and coordinate with other departments (e.g., Day Hab, Academic, Nursing, Maintenance).
• Manage staffing allocation, including shift mandates when necessary, to ensure client safety.
• Facilitate and conduct staff training, including maintenance of records and coordination with other Directors.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or at least 4 years of experience in Human Services/MR field plus supervisory experience.
• Supervisory experience; 2 years in the MR field.
• MAP certification required.
• Familiarity with Behavior plan implementation is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, professional demeanor.
• Valid driver’s license (MA, NY or CT).
• Background and driving record checks will be performed.
