As a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and comfort of both mother and baby during the birthing process. You will work closely with obstetricians, midwives, and a team of experienced nurses to provide personalized care tailored to each family's needs.
Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support birthing preferences and ensure a safe delivery
Monitor and assess the condition of patients, administering medications and treatments as necessary
Educate and support families on postpartum care and infant care practices
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Requirements:
2 years of current Labor & Delivery experience
Postpartum/Mother Baby experience
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Massachusetts RN license
Active American Heart Association BLS certification
Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Active STABLE certification
COVID-19 vaccine (medical and religious exemptions may apply)
Must have own vehicle for the assignment
