Timberlyn Heights, a skilled nursing facility located in Timberlyn Heights, is currently looking for RN/LPNs to fill our vacant positions. Positions are available on a full‑time, part‑time, or per diems basis.

RNs/LPNs care for people who are sick, injured, convalescent, cognitively impaired, or disabled. Under general supervision they deliver care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. They collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. RNs/LPNs effectively interact with patients and significant others while maintaining the standard of professional nursing.

The nature of the direction and supervision required for this position varies by setting. Care involves meeting the physical and psycho‑social needs of older adults, maximizing their functional abilities, and promoting, maintaining, and restoring physical, mental, and emotional health.

While performing the duties of an RN or LPN, the employee must talk, hear, stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and smell. Employees may be required to provide lifting and transfer assistance to residents safely without harming or injuring the resident or themselves. This requires significant physical activity including standing, lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, twisting, and the use of lifting devices or assistance.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
