Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER), Nights

Great Barrington, MA

Contract | Full-Time | Nights | Onsite

• Function independently under general guidance of unit leadership, adhering to department guidelines, protocols, and policies
• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room environment, demonstrating critical thinking and sound clinical judgment
• Utilize time management, communication, planning, delegation, and problem-solving skills to deliver safe, effective patient care
• Maintain emotional stability and composure in high-acuity and emergency situations
• Participate in triage and cardiac room care as applicable to unit needs

• Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Room nursing experience
• Active Massachusetts RN License
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Active American Heart Association PALS certification
• Must have personal reliable transportation

• ED Triage and/or Cardiac Room experience (candidates with this background will receive first consideration)
• IV Certification
• Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR system
• ENPC and/or CEN certification; BSN degree

• Work within a community-focused acute care facility offering a broad range of inpatient and ambulatory services with 24-hour emergency coverage
