  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays depending on workload

Role Summary

Marmie Ford is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our service team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on diagnostic work, takes pride in doing quality repairs, and wants a dealership that backs its techs with strong leadership, real support, and steady work. If you know how to fix cars the right way and want a better shop culture, you'll fit in here.
Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs and maintenance listed on repair orders with accuracy and efficiency
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, and brakes
  • Use diagnostic tools, equipment, and Ford repair procedures
  • Perform test drives and verify repair quality
  • Communicate clearly with Service Advisors on recommended work or findings
  • Execute warranty repairs following manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Stay current on training and keep certifications up to date
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of automotive technician experience preferred
  • Mechanical and diagnostic aptitude
  • Ability to operate modern diagnostic equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Team-oriented, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced shop
  • Ford or ASE certifications are a plus but not required
