A nationally recognized health system is seeking a BE/BC Anesthesiologist for its 33-bed community hospital in central Kansas, with the opportunity to step into the Medical Director role.
Opportunity- Hands-on role: you'll run your own room and lead the service line, not supervise CRNAs across multiple rooms
- Join 1 Anesthesiologist and 2 highly competent CRNAs
- Lower-stress general anesthesia with no high-risk cases
- About 2,200 surgical cases a year: 4 ORs, typically 4-5 cases a day
- Mostly orthopedics with lots of regional blocks, plus general surgery, OB/GYN (250 births a year), ophthalmology, podiatry, and very minimal peds
- Optional outpatient pain clinic up to 2 days a week, with room to grow the service line
- EPIC EMR
- 1:4 call: "It's more staying late than getting called in." After 10pm, you may be called in about 10-20% of the time
- ALL Visas accepted
- Experienced anesthesiologists preferred; new graduates with a genuine interest in leadership will be considered
- Base salary guaranteed indefinitely
- Additional pay for Medical Director hours + wRVU bonus for pain mgmt work
- 7.5 weeks off annually
