Temporary Employee – Barton County Upward Bound Program

Barton Community College is seeking applications for a Temporary Employee position for the Barton County Upward Bound Program. This position will be specifically working during the summer residential program from June 1st through June 26th.

• Assist teachers and UB staff during field trips
• Drive a 15‑passenger van
• Serve as positive role models
• Supervise participants in a group living environment
• Facilitate conflict resolution and address disciplinary problems
• Assist UB staff during evening activities
• Work long hours, including evenings and Sundays, with culturally and socio‑economically diverse high school students

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Completion of sophomore year of college preferred; high school diploma required
• GPA of 3.0 required
