Coordinator/Academic Advisor – Great Bend office

• Assist participants in overcoming obstacles to increase the number of disadvantaged students completing secondary education and entering post‑secondary institutions.
• Travel to partner agencies during the day to build and maintain relationships.
• Conduct weekly visits to local correctional facilities to support incarcerated individuals with their educational goals.
• Collaborate with a team to coordinate academic advising, admissions, and financial aid processes.
• Provide individualized support to adult populations in higher education settings.

• Bachelor’s degree and a valid driver’s license required; a master’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with adult populations in a higher education setting.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work productively as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.

• Experience in vocational and academic advisement/counseling.
• Knowledge of admissions, financial aid, and related processes.
• Experience working with individuals from disadvantaged populations.
