Respiratory Therapist (RT) – Full-Time – Great Bend, KS

- Licenses/Certifications: KS RT license, NBRC CRT/RRT credential, BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP
- Experience: 6+ months in critical care preferred; clinical instruction experience a plus
- Pay package discussed upon application
- Hourly pay range: $28.57 to $37.84 (additional shift differentials apply)
- Differential pay:
- Evenings ): $2.30/hr
- Nights ): $3.75/hr
- Weekends (1900 Friday–700 Monday): $3.00/hr
- Benefits include health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and paid vacation/sick days
- Perform routine Epic and bedside medication verification
- Work independently in critical care areas after clinical check-offs
- Administer all modes of therapy in various hospital units post-certification
- Assess patient needs and recommend appropriate therapies per RT protocols
- Mentor students and new staff members to promote team growth
- Contribute to patient care excellence in a high-acuity environment
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care
- Valid RT license in Kansas
- NBRC CRT or RRT credential
- BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP certifications
- Basic computer skills
- 6+ months of critical care experience preferred; clinical instruction experience is a plus
This role is based at a leading hospital in Great Bend, providing vital respiratory services across multiple departments, including critical care units. The RT will play a key role in delivering comprehensive respiratory therapy and supporting patient recovery.
