Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) Job – 13-Week Contract, Day Shift | Great Bend, KS 67530

• Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg
• Location: Great Bend, KS 67530 (On-site) – Kansas travel nurse job
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1910–$2010/week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (travel RN contract)
• Start Date: 03/15/2026
• End Date: 06/14/2026
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift Duration: 12 Hour Days
• Shift Schedule: Days, 06:45–19:15
• Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends per month
• On-Call Requirement: 1 shift per month
• Holiday Requirement: Required in rotation
• Floating: May float within scope to the Emergency Department (ED)
• Orientation: Monday virtual orientation
• Pre-Start Deadline: Credentials due 1 week prior to start date (Monday)
• Workplace Standard: Nicotine-free facility
• Eligibility: 60-mile radius rule (local candidates not accepted)

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent hospital Med/Surg RN experience (new graduates not accepted)
• License: Active Kansas RN license or Compact RN license
• Certifications: Current AHA BLS and ACLS
• Preferred Skills:
  
  Experience with IV drips (gtts) such as Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem

• Provide nursing care for patients on a Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) unit
• Manage IV drips (gtts) as needed and within RN scope (e.g., Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem)
• Float within scope to the Emergency Department (ED) when needed
• Participate in weekend, on-call, and holiday rotations as scheduled
