Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a KS or compact RN license, ACLS certification, and a minimum of one year of hospital med/surg experience.
Responsibilities- Day shift position, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- Hospital med/surg setting
- Experience with continuous IV drips (gtts) such as Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem is preferred
- 2 weekends per month required
- On-call requirement of 1 shift per month
- Holidays required on a rotating basis
- May float within scope to the ED
- New graduates will not be considered for this position
- Orientation begins on Monday and is conducted virtually
- This is a nicotine-free facility
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted for this position
- Active KS RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of hospital med/surg experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
