near Great Bend, Kansas is seeking a full-time, permanent Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join their team!
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse Opportunity:
- Full-time, direct hire position
- Day shift, 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends
- Great nursing leadership and administration team!
- Registered Nurse, ED assesses the patient on admission in accordance with hospital policies and procedures and unit-specific standards
- Communicates pertinent patient information and unit information to medical providers, house supervisor, and other appropriate persons while maintaining client confidentiality
- Registered Nurse, ED administers therapeutic injections, venipuncture, or other IV therapies, performs blood pressure checks, inhalation therapy, catheterization, dressing changes, and other procedures within the scope of nursing practice and as ordered by the provider
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have active RN License
- Must have previous ER nursing experience
- Small, rural community located in central Kansas, characterized by its wide-open landscapes, agricultural roots, and close-knit atmosphere. T
- he area is part of the Great Plains, featuring gently rolling terrain, expansive farmland, and a climate marked by hot summers and cold, often windy winters.
- Serves as a regional hub for surrounding farms and smaller towns, offering basic services, local businesses, and a strong sense of community identity.
- The town reflects a blend of historical heritage particularly tied to railroad development and agriculture with a quieter, slower-paced lifestyle typical of much of rural Kansas.
