Position SummaryA Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who practices both autonomously and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, holistic, evidence‑based anesthesia and pain care services. The CRNA provides care across all patient acuity levels and across the lifespan, in settings ranging from surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, to pain management procedures.
ResponsibilitiesProvide pre‑operative evaluation, anesthesia planning, intra‑operative management, and post‑operative care for a broad caseload that includes orthopedics, general surgery, OB‑GYN, and other specialties. Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to safety protocols, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications- Successful completion of a nursing anesthesia program and certification.
- Eligibility for licensure as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in the State of Kansas.
- Experience in anesthesia and pain care, with a broad caseload across multiple surgical specialties.
- Broad caseload in multiple surgical specialties – orthopedics, general surgery, OB‑GYN.
- Full range of procedures performed independently and collaboratively.
