Minimum Requirements
Minimum 1 year of hospital Med-Surg nursing experience required
Must have current inpatient acute care experience (new graduates are not accepted)
Required Licensure & Certifications
Active
Kansas RN license or Compact RN license
Basic Life Support (BLS)
– AHA required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
– AHA required
Schedule & Work Requirements
Shift:
12-hour day shifts (06:45–19:15)
Weekend Requirement:
2 weekends per month
On-Call:
1 shift per month
Holiday Requirement:
Rotational coverage required
Floating:
May float within scope to Emergency Department Orientation:
Virtual orientation held on Monday
Strong acute care experience, IV drip competency, and the ability to adapt to both inpatient unit demands and occasional ED floating. Candidates with strong clinical judgment and prior exposure to higher-acuity medication management will excel in this role.
